Our Story

Bear Country Outfitters is family owned and operated. But it is not just a business, it is our passion!

Come meet your hosts Dale and Rose-Marie.

Dale started hunting moose and bear in this area at a young age with his older brothers and this later changed into hunting this same area with his own sons. Twenty-five years later he realized he enjoyed guiding others maybe even more than hunting himself and when the opportunity arose he purchased the outfitting rights in his old stomping grounds.

When Rose-Marie isn’t preparing all the meals and organizing everything at camp in the spring and fall she also enjoys fishing and hunting bear, deer, moose and elk as well!

Years ago we started the saying COME JOIN US IN OUR BEARADISE but in 2016 we expanded our lease and now we also offer Saskatchewan Trophy White-Tailed Deer hunts!

We strive to give our hunters the kind of hunting experience that we personally would expect and enjoy.

All of our guides have extensive hunting and guiding experience and will do their utmost to ensure you have the best possible hunt. They are fully involved with your hunt – this includes the baiting of the sites to start to finish, the placement of the stands, and the monitoring of the activity of the deer and bears.
